This was great! It was fun seeing how you interpreted the oracle’s responses and seeing where you rolled. Do you typically roll for outcomes when you hit a creative lull?

I tend to make a roll before I hit the lull! If the story has gotten so slow that I need a roll to kick it up again, I’ve done something wrong. I could sit and write about my character talking to themself for hours, but that’s a different kind of game. I tend to roll for an idea, and once I’ve sort of put that idea into play (like “deception” in this bit of the story-which led to a really stupid move), I’ll roll again to see where I’m headed next.

Really cool to see the Semiotic Standard from Thousand Empty Light being put to use!

Oh-ho! Direct conflict with the knuckle's Spiders, eh? Gonna be interesting to see how that flies later down the line.

Thanks for playing, Allen!

It’s a really fun little adventure! I will give a hint that the pre-programmed events you put in place become very important to the plot. Those were a great way to make the world around the character feel like it is moving along with or without them. Very well executed!
